It’s Astounding That People Air Their God-Awful Drama in Public
Setting a bad example for your kid

After dinner, I took the day’s garbage to the dumpster. I watch out for the cars coming into the Apartment Complex. People drive too fast and they don’t pay attention. I shake my head at the drama playing out in the parking lot. Next to the first building as you enter the complex.
She’s trying to get in a car. He’s at the passenger-side door trying to pull her and the kid out, or he’s trying to pull the kid from her arms. There’s a lot of yelling and cursing going on.
Too bad I didn’t know it was going on, I would have taken out the trash later
I’m not close to the action. They don’t notice me and I have enough sense to turn away. I never stop walking. I breathe a sigh of relief when I close the door to my apartment. I made it back without witnessing a murder or getting struck by a stray bullet.
I see it all the time. I lived in a trailer park years ago. There was always an argument going on in someone’s carport. Whatever happened to keeping family drama in the family?
It happens no matter when I take out the trash
The messed-up thing about my neighbors. They bring their drama outside often. I expect I will see law enforcement and paramedics there soon. Things will come to a head.
Part of the problem is men don’t know how to be men. If you’re a man and have a family you need to put the bottle and game controller down and get a job. You were man enough to knock her up, be man enough to support her and your kid.
I know all about you just by taking out the trash
It took five minutes for me to walk the trash to the dumpster. Look how much I know about your lack of character and maturity. You don’t care, because if you did there would be no drama in the first place.
I bet that is the way your parents raised you. It’s too bad you don’t have the self-awareness to see where this could lead. The tragedy is it’s generational. You grew up in the same environment you’re raising your child if you stick around.
You’ll leave, it’s easier than growing up
I wouldn’t be surprised if you bail on your kid. Yeah, I’m making value judgments. In a snapshot scene, I saw when I took out the trash. It’s a pattern with you. The situation worries my wife. I no longer can take the trash out at night.
We have heard gunshots before at all hours of the day and night. I wonder when I will hear them coming from your building. I hope it never happens. I pray you have an epiphany and realize where you’re headed. I pray, but I don’t have faith in a positive outcome.
Families need to be families again, where’s the love?
Are people tired of watching the news as I am? One tragedy after another. Of abused kids and wives and girlfriends hurt or killed by deadbeat assholes. I know I am. I hate the feeling of powerlessness.
I can do nothing except pray and try to pick a time to take out the trash when no one is awake.
Final Thought:
We need to examine ourselves and decide what kind of people we are and the example we want to set for our children. Kids are growing up in toxic environments they think are normal. The chain has to be broken somewhere. I don’t see that happening. And that’s sad.

These kind of people make me think eugenics is a good idea. (Although it isn't, of course.).
